I sought a second opinion on my divorce case after quickly realizing the firm I had was using tactics to draw out fees and a timeline with a less than optimal outcome. Upon meeting Karma, I realized many of the things told to me by my original firm were not true. For instance, I didn’t need a temporary order which my attorney was vying for (and costing lots of money negotiating with opposing counsel.) Karma was direct and honest. She presented herself as very competent and laid out a strategy that appeared expedient. After switching firms to Ms. Zaike, she quickly got a trial date and it was an effective strategy in getting opposing counsel to make decisions and force a fixed timeline. After mediation was unsuccessful, opposing counsel quickly compromised because they did not want to go to trial. Overall, I was very happy with the outcome. Karma is an attorney whose heart is in the right place and she has a passion for doing the right thing, witht he legal chops to put forth a strategic plan for her clients.
